first Sephora haul of 2019!!!

Hey everyone! Last week I placed an order from Sephora because I am running low on my setting powder, and am trying to listen to my esthetician about using a cleanser. (If you wanna know more about what she had to say, read that post here.) So, here’s my first Sephora haul of 2019!

I did get the mini sizes of some of these products because I wanted to try them out before I committed fully to a product I don’t know if I like.

1. Caudalie Beauty Elixir Mini

Caudalie beauty elixirI was really intrigued by this product and wanted to try it out. It’s under the clean section of Sephora, which I really like. BUT, the weird thing to me is it’s a toning mist that sets makeup and tightens the appearance of pores??? Didn’t know that was a thing, so I had to try it. Here’s to hoping it works!

2. Cover FX Perfect Setting Powder

3. Tatcha Pure One Step Camellia Cleansing Oil Mini

Tatcha pure one step camellia cleansing oilThis is another mini because I haven’t tried Tatcha’s products before and didn’t know if I would like. Since my esthetician got on to me about my routine, I have been in the market for a new remover and was suggested this one. It’s also clean at Sephora which really helped me make that purchase!

4. Tarte Tarteguard Mineral Powder Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 30

Tarte Tarteguard sunscreenI got this mainly for my trip but also wanted to test this out because I had never seen anything like it before. It’s a sunscreen with a brush applicator that allegedly doesn’t mess up your makeup. I’m a little skeptical right now but really hope it works so I can 1- add sunscreen into my makeup routine and 2- take it skiing where I can actually wear makeup on the slopes. Fingers crossed this works!

5. Freebies + products purchased with points

I picked items I have been wanting to try without spending money on! I will be testing these products out and reviewing them over the next few weeks.Sephora bag freebie This was a freebie gotten with a code at checkout and I REALLY recommend getting this if they still have it. The bag is so cute and has a mesh back and the products included are so amazing! I’m going to be putting my lipstick in this bag once I find a place for my new minis.

This was purchased with points! I have never done this before as I am kind of stingy with my points and like to rack up for some unknown reason… But I decided to let go of a few and get this because I have been wanting to try some Tarte products without spending real money on it. I definitely think this will be worth it to know if I like their products or not!

origins mega-mushroom relief and resilience soothing treatment lotionMy last freebie! I picked this because I had taken a skincare quiz on Sephora and this kept popping up as something that would work for me. The name kind of freaked me out a little so I didn’t buy, but was glad when the option to try for free was given.

Hope you all enjoyed this little Sephora haul!
