Oh look, another Haul | 2016

Hey everybody! I first want to say, I am very sorry I only got one post out last week. Between Phi Lamb recruitment, Galentine’s Day, STILL celebrating my 21st birthday, AND my aunt’s birthday, I have had no time to write (again). I promise as soon as I get my planner for this year, and the craziness of Phi Lamb and opening weekend in a few days dies down, I will get right back on schedule. I am going to work really hard to get another post out tomorrow, but I have a pretty busy day, so it may be another week because of Phi Lamb obligations, babysitting and baseball games, but I still hope to get it out!

Now that’s been said, I received my last Sephora haul for a while, last week! I am trying to get away from all of the hauls and post more content, so I am going to (try) to refrain from buying some for a couple of weeks. But we’ll see how well that goes.. Alright guys, here’s my latest haul!! The first thing I got, is the Boscia Purifying Cleansing Gel. This product is the reason I bought anything in the first place. I ran out of makeup remover last week and had used a sample of this several months back, so I decided to go ahead and buy! I have been using this every night to take off my makeup, and am really enjoying it so far, but will give a more detailed report later, in case it causes breakouts or dry patches! I actually had a tie between the Boscia cleanser and this one, because I have used a sample of this one and really liked it, as well as the last product. I ultimately decided to get the bigger of the Boscia and the smaller of this, because it had some iffy reviews, so I second guessed myself on my purchase. This is the Soy Fresh Face Cleanser. I have been using this in the morning to cleanse my face before putting makeup on, and am really liking it so far! Again, I will give a review in a few weeks as to how I really feel about it!Something I have been wanting for a very long time and FINALLY got is the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I’m like the last person in the beauty community to get on the bandwagon and I am so, so glad I finally did! I have only used it maybe three times since buying, but have noticed a difference in my under eye area, and application of bronzer, blush, etc. because of it!! I am really excited to have finally added this to my makeup collection!!Another thing I bought is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Soft Brown. I have used this before and ran out of mine, so I obviously needed another! I really like this product and will be showing y’all how I do my brows and a review on the ABH brow products very soon! I decided to try out one of Anastasia’s brow brushes, so I got the ABH Brush #12. Some of the reviews kinda turned me off to her brushes, but since ABH is my holy grail brow products, I decided to ignore those comments, and see for myself! This one has a spooley on one end and a small synthetic brow brush on the other. I have only used this once but think I will enjoy this with my Dipbrow!Last, but not least, I have Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick in Pure Hollywood. They describe it as a “pale mauve nude” and it actually turned out to be my perfect nude shade! I have worn this liquid lip almost every day since, and have loved it so much that I cannot wait to try out some of the other shades! It is not too drying, and has lasted a very long time for me. Since it is just a tad darker than my actual lip color, when it fades off, it’s barely noticeable. Really happy about this purchase!

ABH Liquid Lipstick- Pure Hollywood.

Well guys, that is it for this Sephora haul! I hope you all enjoyed reading this post! I promise to get my stuff together and stick to my schedule (I know, I say that a lot, but I’m working on it!)

Huge Sephora Haul | 2016

Hey everybody! I hope you are ready for yet ANOTHER haul! I wasn’t going to post this until next week, but since my birthday is on Wednesday, and I don’t know how much time I am going to have to write, here it is! This is probably going to be my longest post yet, because I bought so much stuff at Sephora yesterday. So, let’s get to it!

These are all of the items that I bought at Sephora! (including the birthday gift they gave me and a Murad freebie.)

img_4692The first thing I got at Sephora was another Beauty Blender… It was time for a new one and they are just so beautiful when they’re clean! Gosh, I love this thing. Mmmkay, been there, seen that, moving on….img_4695My next product is the Hourglass All Over Shadow Brush. I bought this online because it was about time to add an Hourglass brush to my collection, and this one has really good reviews. I haven’t used it yet, but I think I’m really going to like it. It is a LOT bigger than I was expecting it to be, but I’m hoping it will take less time up because of that, which is always good. Really excited to play with this!

This is a close up of my Hourglass All Over Shadow Brush.

img_4690Now, I have the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Color Correct and ConcealerI had been talking to my mom about this and swatched it in store when the BEST CONSULTANT EVER (shoutout to DI) offered her help.. She completely sold me on this… I mean, I was already pretty close to getting it when she put it on my face, but she could have sold me the whole store and I would have left not feeling guilty about it (sorry dad). I haven’t had the chance to use this since buying, but I’m telling you…. BOMB. Just BOMB. That’s all I have to say about this.img_4687-1And now, I have the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel. I actually went into Sephora to get this because I lost/ran out of my last one (and of course I didn’t leave with just the one.) We already know I swear by this, and couldn’t live without my Anastasia Brow products.img_4671Next is the Josie Maran 100% Pure Argan Oil Light. LOVE THIS STUFF. I got the regular one as a sample and loved the way my skin looked after using it, but it was just a little too heavy for me. So, I got the light one and it is still super moisturizing and healing and I’m just in love with it!! I’ve only gotten to use it one night, and will give a review a couple of weeks after using it, but I have a feeling my view will stay the same. IN LOVE.img_4663Staying on the “skincare” topic.. Next, I have the Glamglow Gravitymud Firming Treatment. I am really excited to use this product! I have loved every GLAMGLOW product that I have tried, so I’m sure it will be the same with this. This is supposed to “firm, lift, tighten, tone, and help the skin’s contours look more defined”  WHO DOESN’T WANT THAT?!img_4666Aaaand, MORE SKINCARE! This is the Glamglow Giftsexy Ultimate Anti-Aging Set. It comes with a full size Youthmud Tingle Exfoliate Treatment, Youthcleanse Daily Exfoliating Cleanser, a mini Supermud, and an Applicator Brush. In my head, I saved money buying this.. I needed some more of the Supermud, but also wanted to try the Youthmud because a friend recommended it to me. I am so excited about this little gift to myself! Cannot wait to try the Youthmud and Youthcleanse out!img_4704This is the Glamglow Poutmud Wet Lip Balm Treatment. I just now opened this product, and IT SMELLS SO GOOD. The only real downside is having to stick my finger in the pot to get the product. I feel like that’s not the most sanitary thing ever, but it’s supposed to be an amazing product, so I will look past that.img_4676Now, I have the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in the shade Bellissima. I ordered this online expecting it to be a soft, bright bubblegum/frosted baby pink (because that’s what it looks like online.) Then I saw it in store and realized KathleenLights talked about this in one of her videos, and that it’s not supposed to be that pale of a pink. I’m actually really happy with the color. It is the perfect pinky, nude, natural shade. I wouldn’t be surprised if this ended up in a favorites post in the near future!

img_4673-1The second lip product I got is the Buxom full-on Lip Cream in the shade White Russian. It has just a hint of nude in it to where it’s noticeable, but is sheer enough to be able to wear on top of other lipsticks and stains. I’m really going to enjoy this product!

img_4708And last, but definitely not least, is the Sephora Colorful Matte Eyeshadow in the shade Prom Queen. If I’m completely honest, I only bought this to reach VIB status (#GuiltyAsCharged). HOWEVER, I am really pleased with the pigmentation of this eyeshadow!!! I wasn’t expecting it to be this good! I will have to see what it looks like actually on, but it definitely has potential!

img_4711Whoops, I almost forgot… My birthday gift! Since my birthday is next week, I went ahead and got my gift from Sephora. It is a Marc Jacobs Lipstick and Eyeliner sample duo. The lipstick is in the shade Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and I don’t know the name of the eyeliner, but it is black as night and hard as I don’t know what to get off. It took me three different tries with makeup remover to get that sucker off after I swatched it! I’m definitely going to use these up and get the full size soon. Really like these two products. Thank you, Sephora!

Alright guys, that’s it for my EXTREMELY LONG Sephora Haul! I hope you all enjoyed this post! Thank you so much for reading!

Zoé Haul | 2015

Hey all! I hope your holidays were wonderful! Mine sure was. I wrote this post before the first, but ran out of time to edit and all of that, because I went out of town.. But better late than never, right? I will be getting on a regular schedule starting this week and will make another post discussing that!

So… Let’s get to it! There is a makeup boutique, in Oxford, called Zoé, that I absolutely love. I generally just get my skincare products there because their stuff just works for me and it’s close.. Hope you enjoy this last little haul of 2015! This is my absolute favorite brand of makeup remover! In the past, I used the pump, but I decided to try out the gel this time and so far, I’m really liking it! I always try to stray from the Klorane makeup remover, and I always come back. It is so great for sensitive skin. I REALLY recommend their products. Now, I have this sponge that I have been using with the Klorane makeup remover. I’ve never used a sponge to take makeup off with, but I’ve noticed a difference in my skin in just two days. Really liking this, so far!I also really love the Mario Badescu skincare products. I used to use a different cleansing lotion from them, but this product was recommended to me and so far, it is so soothing after washing my face. It smells SO good too, so that’s always a plus. Last, but not least, I got the NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation in the shade Deauville. I’ve heard this foundation is really great for oily skin, but I had never gotten around to trying it. Really excited for this!

Well, y’all, that’s it for this little haul. Have you used any of these products? Did they work for you? Let me know in the comments below!

Mini Target Haul | 2015

Hey y’all! The other day, I was out Christmas shopping with two of my sorority sisters, and when we went to Target, I got lost in the makeup aisle (as always). I only ended up with four items, but here they are and my first impressions of them! Hope you all enjoy. I ended up getting two elf products. Elf is probably my favorite drugstore brand. It usually works really well for me and I just love it!The first thing I went for was the elf High Definition Powder. I had heard great things and wanted to see for myself if it is as good as people say. After using this product, I noticed it did help with the longevity of my makeup, BUT it does have a bad flashback in photos. I will most likely not be repurchasing this because I don’t exactly love the white cast under my eyes. The next thing I got is this elf Baked Eyeshadow Palette. I was really excited about this and I’m honestly pretty disappointed in it. I don’t know if I just got a bad one or what.. But this will probably be going back. Really sad, but it just wasn’t as good as I thought it was going to be. I’m going to give it one more chance and try some of the top row but I don’t have very high hopes for it. The next thing I got is this Sonia Kashuk No. 8 blending brush. I am really liking this brush so far! My friend, Katie, actually talked me into buying one and I’m so glad she did. I think I’m really going to enjoy using this brush! The last thing I got is the yes to cucumbers hypoallergenic facial towelettes. I have a hard time with face wipes and cleansers because they either make my face burn or break me out…. This doesn’t burn my face, but my face has broken out sooo bad since I started using it. My face is really sensitive, so I guess no more of these for me..

Well, that’s it for my small Target haul for 2015! Hope you all enjoyed this post. Have you used these products before? Did they work for you?

First Morphe Brushes | 2015

YES YES YESSSS! Today is such a happy day!! My first three Morphe brushes finally came in! I ordered these brushes because 1- I needed new brushes and wanted to try these out, and 2- Everyone I know who has Morphe brushes absolutely loves them!Eeeek! Can you hear me squealing all the way from Mississippi?! These are my brand new Morphe brushes! I could NOT be more excited to finally have them in my hands! The first one I got is the M439-Deluxe Buffer. I’ve never been a foundation brush girl, my mom raised me using a sponge and then I went to a Beauty Blender. Jaclyn Hill convinced me to buy this in one of her recent videos. This brush has already completely converted me from sponges, and I haven’t even used it yet! I love how short and fat it is. It’s not as big around as I thought it was going to be, but it’s still really nice. I am SO excited to use this! The second brush I got is the E4-Angled Contour brush. I like that it’s kind of rounded instead of a harsh angle like some of the ones out there are. I’m so excited to contour and bronze my face with this!Last, but definitely not least, is the M438-Pointed Contour brush! I will be using this brush to set the under eye area. It’s small enough to get right next to the lower lash line but big enough to cover the entire area. I love this one already, too!

Alright, that’s it for this post. I think you probably already know this, but I am so beyond excited to use them! From what I can tell, I’m really going to love these brushes. I mean, I’m already completely obsessed and wanting more! They’re super soft and feel so great to the touch. Hope you all enjoyed!

Have you tried Morphe brushes? Drop me a comment down below and let me know what you thought about them and what brushes you love!

Mini Ulta Haul | 2015

Hey y’all! I went to Ulta today for new foundation, and, of course, didn’t leave with just that. (Shh, don’t tell my parents.) So, I wanted to share my new additions with y’all!Aaaah! I can’t contain my excitement! I’m just so in love with every product I bought and can’t wait to use them! The first thing I bought, and what I went in for, is the Too Faced Born This Way foundation in the shade Ivory

I’ve been using the Urban Decay Naked Weightless foundation, but this week it started leaking oil out of the pump, breaking up on my face, and making me look kind of orange. So I had to, very reluctantly, throw it away. It was a sad day.. So, I used a sample of this for the Ole Miss football game last Saturday and I absolutely fell in love! At Ulta, a consultant told me this was her favorite foundation and it just confirmed the reason I wanted it. It’s a full coverage, oil-free foundation and is really great for combination/oily skin. Even though it’s full coverage, I don’t feel like my face is caked with makeup which is why I really love this foundation! This is the Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray. I have been wanting this setting spray for a long time, but every time I’ve gone to Ulta or Sephora it’s been sold out. I have heard awesome things about this product and cannot wait to start using it!     Next I have the Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Fig. OH MY GOSH I LOVE THIS COLOR. It is so beautiful! I don’t do deep lips other than red because it can make me look kind of hard but this…. Oh man. It’s the perfect mauvey purple! Definitely a must-have in your collection. I want more of the Melted Lipsticks because this one is perfection! This is the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Bad Blood (brb while I channel my inner Taylor Swift.) I’ve been in serious need of a red lip pencil because, let’s be real, my lips are always red. The last one I got is a brick red, I needed more of a firetruck red and this one is perfect! Some lip pencils tend to dry out my lips but this one is more creamy. Really excited about this! Last, but not least, is a mint eos! I got this one AGAIN because I always seem to lose mine…or they get stolen. This is my favorite Chapstick ever, I carry one everywhere I go.

Well, that’s it for my first and last Ulta haul of 2015! Hope you enjoyed it!
